Western Women and Girls cricket
Providing opportunities for women and girls, of all ages and abilities, throughout the west of Scotland to play cricket, Western Women and Girls Cricket is an integral part of the jigsaw of junior cricket in the west.

Training news [posted 25/05/10] Laura MacDonald's emailed the website to remind everyone that training takes place every Thuirsday at 6.30pm, meeting at the entrance to Glasgow Green off Greendyke Street. Here's a link to the Google map of the surrounding area. No equipment is neccessary, it will be provided - just wear whatever you would be comfortable running about on grass with.
Three more fixtures [posted 06/04/10] Laura MacDonald's has passed on details of two more fixtures for this summer's outdoor season. These're online below. However, Laura also emailed to say the scheduled match against the Western Cricket Academy Under 14 has been cancelled after a venue mix-up.
Quiz night [posted 13/03/10] Western Women and Girls Cricket Club are hosting a Quiz Night at Clydesdale Cricket Club on Friday the 26th of March from 7.30pm. Entry is £5 per team, and everyones welcome. Get in touch with Laura MacDonald for more info' or to enter a team.
Three more fixtures [posted 28/02/10] Laura MacDonald's has passed on details of three more fixtures for this summer's outdoor season, including the Super 4s competition at New Williamfield, in Stirling.
More fixtures [posted 17/02/10] Paula Ritche's has passed on details of more fixtures for this summer's outdoor season. A couple of matches against Kinross CC at their new ground have now been lined up@ the first on Sunday the 16th of May, a second on Saturday the 14th of August.
Training dates [posted 13/02/10] The latest indoor winter training dates have been released: Laura Macdonald notes these are every Thursday between the18th of February Until the 25th of March (inclusive), between 8 and 9.30pm at Williamsburgh Primary School (Lacy Street, Paisley, PA1 1QF). There's a cost of £2 per person, per session. Anyone with questions on the sessions can get in touch with the club via email.
Training [posted 30/01/10] Paula Ritche's (07866-621491) intimated that the next training session is on Tuesday the 2nd of February at 7.30pm, at Glasgow Academy Sports Hall, (Colebrooke Street, Glasgow, G12 8HE).
